Describing her installation
'Lightworks' Elizabeth Swinburne says:
'The installation consisted of 65 free blown glass spheres,
these were set upon a bed of shredded paper - photos, letters,
cards, the two dimensional ephemera of past relationships.
Fibre optic
lights were used to reveal the
markings

that had been incorporated into glass during the making
process, thereby creating multi-layered images of handprints
around the room.
The
installation only really became complete when the viewers shadow
joined those of my hands. I touched and was touched in
